When we went past this funny cow, we laughed and had to stop and go back and take her picture - bad hair day for sure! They are a breed of Highland Cattle. We couldn't stop laughing at how funny it was to see a shaggy cow. She seemed a little indignent that we were catching her bad hair day on film!
On the west side of New Zealand, the water is called the Tasman Sea, so these pictures are of us at the Tasman Sea. The water was a greenish blue. Very beautiful. We stopped and saw the pancake rocks (they look like a stack of pancakes!) Where the water has erroded the rocks, the water comes up and blows out beautiful sprays. We also stopped and saw the seal colony. The seals are perfectly camoufloged and are the same color as the rocks. When you first look you don't even see them, then you see a flipper move and realize they are there.
