Springtime in New Zealand

On Thursdays, we go to Christchurch to teach institute at the University (love those YSA kids!!), and we stop at "Uncle Ben's" Chinese Takeaway, and get chicken fried rice and crumbed prawns!  We found this beautiful little park to eat in, and Kenny shared his food with the ducks and birds!  The flowers, and ferns were so beautiful.  The pictures don't really show the brillant color or how much and how big the plants there are. Everywhere, there is such beauty!  We love it.

This is a cactus in our friend Derek's, yard.  He has such beautiful flowers in his yard, and loves to show them to us.

Our good friend Joy, brought us these beautiful peonies!  Thank you Joy!

Our beautiful Ashburton Domaine!

This was a pretty driveway that we drove by.  Everywhere there are beautiful flowers!

Baby Kenneth Boyd Neider Mark Pongia

It's a big name for a tiny baby boy!   What an honor for us.  We dearly love Bishop Pongia and his beautiful wife Shrina, and their 4 darling children, Amone, Mahina, Ofa, and Baby Kenny.  They will always be part of our family.

Women's Broadcast

We had a lovely evening with the Sisters and watched the "Women's Broadcast" from Salt Lake City.  I  made taco salad, and we had rolls and cookies.  The Sister Missionaries helped me prepare and Elder Neider got things set up!  Love our three Sisters! Sister Huffaker (who taught Relief Society for me today!), Sister Kei and Sister Kirifi, and Elder Neider too!

Temple Trip October 2012

We had the blessing of going with our Ashburton Ward to the Hamilton Temple.  There were 40 of us, and we were part of the Christchurch Stake temple week. 400 people went from the stake.  It was a huge group!   These two beautiful families were sealed and our 16 wonderful youth did baptisms for about 600 people.  We had 4 wonderful youth leaders, who took care of everyone and Liz and Sister Johnston, and Viliami and Ramoan.  Everyone was wonderful!

Sister Fetu'u and Sister Wu, who served in Ashburton, came to the temple to see us.  Sister Fetu'u brought her whole beautiful family, to meet us (7 sisters and 1 brother and mom and dad)
The youth were able to go swimming 3 times and had so much fun!  They were a riot to photograph and video!  Such great kids!
These people flew and were very patient with long delays in the airports.  Others drove up and met us there.  Bishop got us these t-shirts from a potato company!
Youth of a noble birthright!
Many hand helping make the work fun!

The Lord is in the details of our lives!
